Making Biscuits With Edible Gold

INGREDIENTS


1: Flour _250 g

2: sugar _62.5 g

3: Desiccated coconut/dry fruits _50 g

4: Baking powder _7.5 g

5: Butter _125 g

6: Milk _37.5 ml

7:vanilla

8: whole egg _1

9: Egg yolks _1

10: Blueberries _to your desire

11: Strawberry _ to your desire

12: Edible Gold _ to your desire


STEPS
step 1: Crumble together your dry ingredients that is, flour,sugar desiccated coconut/dry fruits and don't forget the baking powder in a bowl.

step 2: While the mix is chilling you can start making the blueberry sauce for garnish, so take about 60 grams of sugars in a small sauce pan on low heat and let it caramelize,crush the blueberries to release the juice and pour into the caramelizing sugar stir and leave to reduce.

step 4: Remove dough from fridge, dust your working table and with a rolling pin flatten your dough to your desired thickness and cut shapes that you would like and lay them on your baking tray, apply some egg wash them and bake at 160 degrees Celsius, btw the duration of time depends on how thick your biscuits are so keep checking while in the oven.

step 5: serve and garnish how you would like with the sauce and the gold and some tea DELICIOUS!!!
